New New New

The Black Keys have a new label and a new LP on the way--Magic Potion--due out September 12th.

They recently left their long-time lable Fat Possum Records (for reason which I'm not privy to) and have now signed with Nonesuch Records--home of Wilco, The Magnetic Fields, k.d. Lang and Brian Wilson among others.

Paired with a opening slot on the super-hyped Radiohead tour this year and a song featured in a Nissan ad, this seems to be the beginning of big, big things for Pat and Dan.

I guess we'll see.
